Understanding Mangal Dosha
Aside from Gunas, Mangal Dosha (Mars Affliction) is a critical factor. It occurs when Mars is placed in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house. It indicates a fiery, aggressive energy that can cause conflict in marriage.
However, "Manglik" is often misunderstood. There are many cancellations! For instance, if Mars is in its own sign (Aries/Scorpio) or exalted (Capricorn), the dosha is nullified. Also, a Manglik marrying another Manglik cancels the negative effects, leading to a balanced, high-energy union.
